Haile was introduced to a life of music by his ever supportive mother and his musician father.  Mentored by the great Jesus Alemany, who played trumpet in his father's band, Haile quickly developed and was accepted into the conservatory of music at the age of 10 and soon began performing professionally by the age of 12.  As a student, he rose through the ranks at Escuela Nacional de Música in Havana, Cuba graduating as Título de Instrumentista – Profesor de Trompeta y Práctica de Conjunto, (Instrumentalist Title – Trumpet and Ensemble Practice Professor) 07/17/1996.

Having to audition for every new opportunity that would come his way, Haile eventually found his way to the States by way of Mexico.  Through his travels and performances, he gained a lifetime of experiences being hired to work with numerous professional international and touring acts who would expose him to audiences around the world in those formative years as a young musician.

Once he settled in Central Texas and became a father, Haile decided to return to his studies and received his Masters of Music from the School of Music at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX where he graduated as Lead Trumpet in the “Texas State Jazz Ensemble” and “Salsa del Río Orchestra” 08/10/2018.
